Every project is developed through a structured process of consultation, planning, and collaboration. Due to the highly personalised nature of ghostwriting, all projects are commissioned on a limited-availability basis.

I work privately with a select number of clients each year, including public figures, entrepreneurs, and individuals with extraordinary stories who want their message written with depth, integrity, and emotional truth.

How the Service Works:

This service operates as a three-stage commissioning process:

1. Ghostwriting Consultation (optional but recommended)
2. Booking and Deposit to secure your project 
3. Full manuscript development and delivery

 

1. Ghostwriting Consultation ($750 NZD)

The Ghostwriting Consultation is designed for clients who are unsure about their book ide, structure, or overall direction. This is a dedicated one-on-one consultation (phone or video call) where we clarify your vision and determine the best pathway for your manuscript. 

During this session, we will explore:

• Your story, concept, or book idea
• Suitable genre and structure
• Target audience and purpose of the book
• Estimated scope and length
• Writing style, tone, and narrative approach
• Whether ghostwriting is the right service for your needs
• Next step for development

Consultation Fee $750 NZD

Important: If you proceed with a ghostwriting project, the full $750 consultation fee will be credited toward your total project cost. The consultation is not a standalone writing service - it is a project development and planning session.

 

2. Ghostwriting Booking and Deposit

Once your project direction is confirmed, you may proceed to secure your place in the writing schedule.

All ghostwriting projects require a non-refundable booking deposit paid through this website.

Deposit Options:

• $5,000 NZD (Standard Booking)
• $10,000 NZD (Priority Booking)

Terms: 

• The deposit is strictly non-refundable
• The deposit secures your place in the production schedule
• Work begins only once the deposit has been received
• The deposit is applied toward your final project cost
• Projects are accepted based on scope and creative fit

 

3. Project Development and Scoping

After your booking is confirmed, the full manuscript development process begins.

This includes:

• Detailed story or concept development
• Chapter planning and structure design
• Narrative voice and tone development
• Research requirements (if applicable)
• Estimated final manuscript length
• Project roadmap and timeline

A complete manuscript outline is created before writing begins.

 

4. Final Pricing Agreement

Once the project scope has been clearly defined, a final fixed project fee is agreed.

Indicative pricing ranges (based on typical project scope):

• Short-form manuscripts: from $20,000 NZD
• Mid-length manuscripts: from $30,000 - $50,000 NZD
• Full-length books: from $50,000 - $75,000+ NZD

Final pricing is determined by complexity, research requirements, and manuscript depth.

 

5. Payment Structure

Once the final project fee is confirmed:

• Your booking deposit is deducted from the total cost
• The remaining balance may be paid: in full, or in two installments - 30 days and 60 days

Important:

• Full payment must be received within 60 days of booking
• No manuscript drafts, chapters, or final files will be released until full payment has been completed

 

Important Terms

• All consultation and booking fees are strictly non-refundable (consultation credit applies only if proceeding with a project)
• Ghostwriting services are limited and subject to availability
• Projects are accepted based on creative fit and scope approval
• Full confidentiality is maintained for clients (Non-Disclosure Agreements are accepted in particular contracts)
• Intellectual property rights transfer only upon full payment
